Gallivant: Scotland

Due to a demand for more pictures...

We were in Scotland for a long weekend and spent some time in Edinburgh, which we really liked. The highlights were probably visiting The Elephant House, a coffee shop where J.K. Rowling started writing the Harry Potters. Edinburgh was also in the middle of its international festival, which meant that there were FREAKING HORDES of people there. Everywhere you looked, someone was doing performance art or magic tricks or something. And trying to shove a flier in your hand for heaven-knows-what.

We also visited one of the queen's palaces, called Holyrood House. The best part? The rubber crown squeeze toy available for your dog for the low low price of $12. I could not make this stuff up.

PS: No haggis was consumed in the making of this blog post.
