We spent the afternoon with some friends and on the way to checking the cricket score, they landed on a US football game. Suddenly the NBC peacock was at the top of the screen. And I felt--of all things--homesick!
I am so utterly uninterested in football that now, 4 hours later, I couldn't even tell you who was playing in the midst of said emotional revelation. Who knew that football had that kind of power? :)
