Game Time

Our new games are “Stripper Baby” in which I sing “Stripper Baaaabyyyyyy” like a lounger singer and then give the snaps his sleeper a big yank, opening them all at the same time, just like pullaway pants. It scares the crap out of Jack but Mommy thinks it’s hilarious, so we keep playing it:) We’ve also made a new game called “Stand Up” where Jack stands up and we sing him an assortment of lyrically appropriate songs, my favorite being “Stand Up” a la Laura Carrot.

He still isn’t very interested in toys, but the kid loves to suck fabric. He doesn’t have much use for pacifiers, but fabric is freaking awesome. He sucks on the rabbit that the Griggs’ sent him, or on any blanket that’s nearby, or on his burp cloth. Yes, he likes to suck on his own puke.

He also likes to eat soap. We’re using the Tummy Tub now that he can hold his head up pretty well. He is now capable of achieving some mega splashing , but his real favorite thing is eating the bubbles. You can’t stop him. Every chance he gets he’s either shoving bubbles in his mouth or else trying to stick his face in the water to lick them up. The other night he was sporting a very handsome bubble goatee.
