Vietnam has changed. A lot. KFC and Pizza Hut are here now. When I was here in 2002, my Vietnamese teacher absolutely did not understand the concept of fast food.
The motorbikes are the same, except that people are actually wearing helmets now. The public urination is also the same. But Louis Vuitton and Gucci? I didn't see that coming this quickly.
I'll have a few more comments once we have safely "left the building" this afternoon.
